Some Advice and Trouble

Hi, I'm Ery from Italy (Naples)
this is the first time here for me
and I hope my english is understandable :p
For first thing I must say that this programs is very
great and usefull, especially the portable version
for my usb pen ^__^
Now I can start.....:D
Advice:
--------------------------------------
1. I'd like to have a side-bar with e tree view to explore folders
2. According to me ,it's usefull an option to save the
default view of folder in the tabs (lst, detail, icon,....)
3. Two mode to paste the current path on clipboard function:
extendend format and 8.3 format
4. An option to choose if minimize in the tray icon or not
Problem:
--------------------------------------
1. When I go in the desktop folder and then move on an
other tab, if return on the desktop tabs the tab move on
the C:\Documents and Settings\User\Desktop folder not
remain on the Desktop ("root") folder

Hi Ery - thanks for the input. All suggestions will all be considered when I finally compile or the user feedback and get started on v2.1. I was aware of that bug though - I couldn't figure out how to fix it for 2.0.

I know - I need to get
I know - I need to get cracking on it badly. Hell, I still haven't released the new tabbyCalc! Fact of the matter is it's been a rough ride for me the last few months; lots of crap going on in real life and stuff, and I either didn't have time or simply didn't feel like working on anything creative.
But things are settling down now, and I should be able to find some time soon. I am single again now, and it's summer, and I'm taking full advantage of both factors so it might be a little longer still :) I'm sorry to report though at the end of the month, tabbyFile 2.0 mascot Simon will no longer be living with me. I still have 1.x Conan though.
